We really can't complain. It IS the middle of December, and winter has to arrive sometime...and today and tonight and tomorrow is the time! We're supposed to get up to 16". Yikes! It snowed a little yesterday, and it WAS pretty with big "snow globe" flakes falling coating the trees with a heavy coating of frosting snow.
I did an Etsy treasury (thanks, Craft Cult for the widget below) to celebrate the snow coming. Remember snow days? Those were glorious days when school was cancelled. There would be a dull sound outside...a muffling of all sound. My brother and I would peak out behind the curtains to a heavy layer of snow...with perhaps more falling. We'd listen to the radio and hear that school was cancelled. Hooray! We got to sleep in...maybe have a hot breakfast...play outside. No quizzes or tests that day. What a great thing a snow day was for a kid!

Hot Tea Month
Yes, January is Hot Tea Month. I made this Etsy treasury this morning to celebrate that. To further celebrate, I'll be announcing a giveaway shortly....not sure exactly when...just shortly. Can you guess it will be tea related? Until then, relax with a hot cup of tea and please enjoy the treasury and the pretty things these Etsy sellers have to offer (feel free to click on the pictures to see up close anything that you take a particular fancy to).

Warm Tropical Pinks Treasury
Well, this is the first winter snow for us here. Burrr!! Winter has arrived. Sooo, I decided to do a "Warm, Tropical Sunrise Pinks" treasury. I just discovered that we can get the snapshot of Etsy treasuries from Craftcult, so you'll be seeing more treasuries on here (Thank you, Craftcult!). Anyway, I was greatly inspired by the pretty dress in the very first picture. I think it is absolutely gorgeous! Hope you will enjoy the that dress as well as the other warm pink items seen here.

Yummy, Sugary, and Sweet Treasury
I had lots of fun putting together this treasury on Etsy yesterday featuring things that look or smell or remind a person of sugary, sweet, and yummy things. Mmmmmmm, I think I gained three pounds just compiling the treasury! If you'd like a closer look or would like to check out the individual items here is the link>>>Yummy, Sugary, and Sweet.

Mmmmm, Mint and Chocolate
For some reason I have had mint and chocolate on the brain. It might be because we are waiting for our box of Girl Scout cookies to arrive--you know, the mint and chocolate covered ones. Or, it might be that the grass outside has gone from green to brown too quickly. Or, it just might be because a mint and chocolate candy sounds really good right now--cool and fresh and indulgent. Well, regardless of the reason, I have put together this Etsy treasury and had a grand time doing it too! It features some of my favorites (just love Pei Li's work--I can't get enough of her miniature creations--check out her shop here....Dollhouse Miniatures). If you'd like to look at the treasury in more detail here is the link...Mint and Chocolate.

The Perfect Box Treasury
I love containers...any type really...I guess because I like things organized and in their places (though you'd NEVER know that looking at my house right now). Anyway, I've been itching to do a "box" treasury on Etsy, and I finally snagged a treasury spot today. Here it is. Here is the link if you'd like to view the items in more detail---The Perfect Box.

Teal Etsy Treasury
I'm in the treasury, Tantalizingly Teal, on Etsy (and in fact created it). It was wonderful to hear from a vendor, Teaman (check out his shop--he sells many different kinds of tea in nice tins) that fact that he had at least one sale from it. The ribbon in the treasury sold as well. I know, I sold a brooch once while it was in someone's treasury. I'm very glad for them...and pleased.

Many Thanks, Afi !

Afi created this lovely, colorful treasury on Etsy's Treasury West. The brooch of mine that she featured sold! Thank you, Afi! Check out the treasury which expires soon here>>>Color Burst. While you're at it, check out Afi's very adorable clay creations on her Etsy shop (I've put one of her creations in one of MY treasuries in the past), Joojoo Land and her lovely blog, All About Joojoo.

Eye-Popping Poppies Treasury
Really, truly, I'm NOT addicted to creating treasuries--they are just so fun to do! Yes, I do have a normal life away from the computer and actually DO get away from the computer for large amounts of time. ; ) Whew, now with that said, here is the treasury I just got done creating. Such fun! Here is the link if you'd like to see it up close>>>>treasury.

Wee Little Purse Treasury on Etsy
I had great fun creating another treasury for Etsy. It is the Wee Little Purse treasury featuring, well, the littlest of purses! I really like miniature things and purses and things that are real only in a smaller size...and found some great examples on Etsy. Enjoy!

"A Window in Paris?"--Treasury!
Yippeee! I finally got to do a Treasury on Etsy--true, it's not the MAIN Treasury, but Treasury West is still a Treasury. I've been so eager to do one and feared having to get up at 3:00 a.m. in order to be on time to get in on one...but, no, during lunch the numbers got lower and lower. Finally, it was low enough to do (many thanks for the words of wisdom from people in the forums!). So, my Treasury is "A Window in Paris?" and features windows that could be seen in Paris. I figure, if I can't actually go to Paris physically, I might as well go through Etsy! ; ) I have no idea how to get the picture here...so here is the link if you'd like to check it out>>>>> http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=54746
