Wee Black Purse Necklace

Well, this little project is finally done!

It took me a while to finish, and, yes, I needed to pray a couple of times for extra help as there were some frustrating areas...but it is done and has been listed in my Etsy shop.

I embroidered some pink roses and buds on black felt (as well as some black beads for "fringe") and sewed it into a purse shape.

Tucked inside the purse is a little love note.  The purse is actually a pendant, and I thought it looked best on a gunmetal chain.  Enjoy...and happy weekend!

A Few New Things Added To the Shop

I've added a few new items to my shop lately. This little brooch is just in time for Thanksgiving--a sweet pilgrim gal.
This French handmade coin purse and eye glasses case is a beautiful vintage find. It is hard to sell them since I like them so much--they are exquisite with gorgeous embroidered/tampour detail.
These are thumbtacks that are public domain music scores of favorite hymns--a perfect gift for a church music leader, or a music teacher, or for someone who just loves hymns.

New Crystal Purse Charms

I saw these pretty little crystal shapes at the bead show a few weekends back, and they "spoke" to me. They said, "Purse!" (They say something else too which will remain a secret at this time until I can develop my idea.) I thought the shape lent itself well to a sparkly little Victorian purse, and I'm please with how these turned out, complete with little antique copper chains and a glass bead "fastener" on the tops. I've listed them separately on my eCrater store (simply because I am out of listings with Lollishops at the moment) if you'd like a further peak.
