Hummingbirds
One of my greatest summer joys is watching the hummingbirds. It is always exciting to await their arrival in May...and sad when they fly south in the fall. They dart each other and squeak and drink deeply from the feeder. They are so tiny and sweet and are such a pleasure.

How very sweet. We don't have them in our area, so it is something that we have missed. Enjoy them while they are visiting.
I am so enjoying EVERYONE ELSE'S hummingbird pics .. this year we aren't getting any, the feeder is not attracting them ... usually we are flooded with them. TTFN ~Marydon
Oh I do so much miss the little mother hummingbird who set up her nest on our patio chandelier. We had two sets of babies born in it.
I love hummingbirds, I too have one of those lovely gadgets hanging from a tree, it's just that the hummingbirds like my flowers better then the sweet house.

One of my favorites and we have them here almost year round. I have several feeders throughout our backyard. We enjoy watching them, the Finches, Cactus Wrens and Quails.
