This particular beaded purse, which looked as if it had hardly ever been used, I got at an estate sale a few years back. I found out the people were asking $4, and I actually put it down thinking it was too much! Then I reconsidered and got it. I'm so thankful I did. It goes wonderfully with the golden colors of my bedroom where I have it slung over a mirror. It seems to shimmer and shine no matter what the lighting is like. It is ous and romantic and pretty all at once. Purses such as these--especially those antique, beautiful, expensive ones with the floral beadwork on them--are part of the inspiration for my glass bead jewelry. Perhaps someday I will be able to collect more of these sparkling beauties.
