Just why do we put up chandeliers and hang little crystals everywhere anyway? I was going over my daughter's violin lesson this morning, when she said, "Mommy...look!" We have a ceiling fan in our living room on which I hung some flea market crystals and crystal chain pulls. The sun was hitting one of the pulls with it's full strength. The pull magnificently glowed, and spectra lit up the ceiling. It's for moments of luminosity such as this why I and others decorate with sparkling crystals and chandeliers. These moments of beauty may be small and fleeting but are more than worth it.
